Wordscapes is a mobile word puzzle game, released in 2017 for Google Play Store and the App Store and developed by PeopleFun. Wordscapes has over 100 million downloads in the Google Play Store, and over 4 million daily players. I was a Game Level Designer, and worked mainly with a Localization team to localize the game to Brazilian Portuguese, designing all the 6000+ levels in Brazilian Portuguese. I also designed levels for 2024 Thanksgiving, Winter Holidays and New Year LTEs for Wordscapes in English.

Unreal Engine for Fortnite

Ace Sniper is a UEFN Creative Map that offers players a fast-pacing Sniper Gun Game with an innovative HUB Store that unlocks more cosmetics as players rank up, allowing players to express themselves and customize their experience. I was a Game Designer in the project, and worked conceptualizing and designing the Gun Game experience and the progression systems, including the Ranks and Coins, and implementing features, systems and mechanics in Verse and with Fortnite Creative Devices.

Spiritbound Odyssey is a 3rd person platformer where the player controls 2 characters, one nimble, but weak, and the other strong, but heavy and slow, and they have to help each other face varied challenges to progress. I was the team leader of this 4-month project and worked directly in many systems, mechanics, and features, including the Movement, Camera, Switch, World Clock, Rail Grinding, Magnetic Boxes, and Player Feedback.

When in Doubt, Always Follow your Nose

When in Doubt, Always Follow Your Nose is a level, designed for the Project and Portfolio IV class at Full Sail University. The level is an immersive SIM that allows players to play and feel the fantasy of being a Mage, being able to interact with objects and manipulate them from a distance with their magical staff.

Recipe For Success is a physics-based cooking simulator designed for the Orlando Game Jam 2024. One of the Jam's challenges was Homelessness, and I designed Recipe For Success to provide a fun experience while raising awareness of how difficult it is for homeless shelters to manage resources, especially food. The game was also ported to Virtual Reality to make it even more immersive and engaging.

The Walking City is a level designed for the Level Design 2 class at Full Sail University. The Level Mechanic that I prototyped and implemented was that of Rotating and Moving Buttons, and I added Torches as a secondary feature.

Buried is a 3rd Person Puzzle Platformer designed and developed for the 2024 FIEA Game Jam, in a team of 4 people 3 game developers/designers, and 1 artist. In Buried, the player controls a personification of the Sun, and has to efficiently manage Sunlight to create and grow different kinds of Plants to traverse the environment and progress in the game.

Ogygia is a 3D bullet-heaven game I developed solo for Brackey's Game Jam 2024.1, inspired by Brotato, Soulstone Survivors, and 20 Minutes Till Dawn. The game features 3 different weapons and a wave-based combat with enemies, bosses, and power-ups.

Hold Your Breath is a VR Horror Game, inspired by games such as "Amnesia: The Bunker" and "Inside the Backrooms", developed with Gianni Rosheuvel for the "Indienomicon HallowJam 2023" Game Jam, where the player has to solve puzzles and avoid the monster in order to progress. The monster can hear the players' breathing but is short-sighted, and the players can cover their mouths and noses in order to avoid being detected.

Shattered Melodies is the first project I worked on in my current internship at Zygobot Studios. The team Ayo Games is currently developing an adventure Third-Person game. I helped design and implement some features and mechanics, including environmental hazards, objects, and objectives.

About Me

I was born and raised in Curitiba, Brazil, and I've been passionate about games forever. When deciding what I wanted to study and pursue as a career, I couldn't see any other option but to go into the world of Game Design. That was the only thing I could see myself spending a considerable part of my life in. Because of this, I came to the US to study Game Design at Full Sail University and developed the skills and knowledge that will help me follow my dreams.
